A Snapple publicity stunt went awry in Manhattan this week when a giant popsicle made of Snapple melted, drenching Union Square in sticky goo. At 25 feet tall and a weight of 17½ tons, the monstrosity would have set the world record for largest ice pop had it held together.
If I were to arrange an event in a densely populated metropolitan area, in 80-degree weather, in which the main attraction was an enormous popsicle, there would be certain questions I would want definitively answered before proceeding. What follows is an exhaustive list of those questions:
